Türk Kızılay Logistics signed an agreement with DASAL to transport critical medical supplies, especially blood, through Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems. According to the cooperation protocol, the Red Crescent will carry out urban transportation with UAV systems manufactured by DASAL with a carrying capacity of 15, 75, and 150 kilograms.
The agreement, which was made at the stand of DASAL company at SAHA EXPO organized by SAHA Istanbul, was signed between Mehmet Emin İkmen, Chairman of the Board at DASAL, and Şevki Uyar, General Manager of Türk Kızılay Logistics.
Within the framework of the protocol, it is aimed to carry out works such as transportation of blood and critical medical supplies between hospitals and blood centres, and emergency logistics through UAV systems with a load carrying capacity of up to 15, 75, 150 kilograms, designed by DASAL for military purposes.
