Altınay Robot Technologies commissioned the first phase of a two-stage project developed for the automotive industry. Once fully completed, the project is expected to become one of the most technologically advanced robotic automated lines in its class.
A new automotive-focused solution developed by Altınay Robot Technologies, a company within Altınay Technology Group, has been put into operation at the factory of a segment-leading manufacturer. In the first phase of the project, a robotic welding line was successfully installed and commissioned.
The line is designed for the production of covers manufactured in various sizes. Following the robotic, fully automated welding process—focused on welding the internal frame of these parts—the second phase will introduce an adhesive bonding process to complete the production flow.
Altınay’s solution, optimized to handle a wide variety of product types and production scenarios, integrates linear and rotary servo-axis technologies and has been tailored to meet the customer’s high-diversity manufacturing requirements. This project also demonstrates the strength of the customer’s technical team and engineering capability, enabled by close collaboration throughout the implementation.
With the upcoming installation of the second phase at the customer site, the full system is expected to deliver a benchmark solution for factories producing in this category, positioning the line among the most advanced automated production systems worldwide within its segment.
