Altınay Technology Group drew significant attention with its latest projects at the Teknopark Istanbul Phase II Opening Ceremony held on February 16, 2020.
During the event, Altınay introduced its newly developed unmanned cargo aerial vehicles, ALBATROS and SALAN, designed for advanced logistics and operational capabilities in the aerospace sector. In addition, the Group presented its weapon release system technologies developed and fully manufactured for F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, completed within the scope of Türkiye’s national and indigenous defense initiatives.
The systems were introduced to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan by Altınay Technology Group Chairman of the Board Hakan Altınay and General Manager M. Emin İlkmen. These technologies stand as strong examples of Türkiye’s growing defense industry capabilities and its commitment to localization and technological independence.
The ceremony was attended by high-level officials, including Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, and President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Şekip Avdagiç. Altınay’s Business Development Team also participated in the event.
